Experience the excitement of game design education with the NUR team's inclusive training modules! Get inspired to bring game design into your training activities.

Diversity through Exchange
Our target audience was a diverse group of youth workers, trainers, and teachers. We discovered that despite their varying backgrounds, they all shared a common interest in using game design for educational purposes. With a mix of youth workers and volunteers in the first training and mainly teachers with cultural operators in the second, the program was designed to be inclusive for all participants.

Bringing Game Design to Life
The training kick-off was held online, followed by two residential modules, one in Elba island and one in Cagliari, each followed by two online modules. With the pandemic, we adapted by having two participants join online from home, which served as a unique exercise in inclusion. The training concluded with a final session to share the prototypes and evaluate the activity.

Inclusion Takes Center Stage
Inclusion was a central theme throughout the training, starting with a group discussion on the definition of inclusion and how it's intertwined with a local context. Both groups had different experiences and perspectives, making it a valuable learning opportunity.
Practical and Beneficial Learning Playlists
We also introduced Learning Playlists as an educational tool to support the learning experience during and after the training. We designed our modules with straightforward content, simple tools, and playlists to enhance the learning experience.

Celebrating Success
The feedback from our participants was overwhelmingly positive, with substantial interest shown in the theme of game design in both formal and non-formal education. Our training courses were flexible and adaptable to different target groups and specific contexts, making it a valuable experience for all.
