This learning playlist will help you learn more about social inclusion and how to empower this topic in your communities by using educational game design.

This playlist consists of the following activities:
  • what is social inclusion?
  • analysis of your social environment.
  • social inclusion through educational games.

Complete the following playlist activities to develop your non-formal learning understanding and competences to support better learning of people involved in the game design process.

Content

During this activity, we invite you to get familiar with socially vulnerable groups in your communities.

Task: (You can work individually or in a small group with the large paper or online tool (e.g. Jamboard))
  1. Take an A4 sheet of paper and divide it into 4 squares (window)
  2. On the left upper square, write down all the socially vulnerable groups you encounter in your community and your work.
  3. On the right upper square, write down all the methods you use to ensure social inclusion with these groups.
  4. On the left bottom square, write down the list of educational games which helps to empower social inclusion.
  5. On the bottom right square, write down how designing such games could help to ensure social inclusion with your target groups.
  6. Answer badge questions.
